Guy Sella
Partner / Investment Manager
Mr. Sella joined STAR's Israel branch office in 2004 as a Ventures Partner and was promoted to Partner in 2006. During his short tenure at STAR, Mr. Sella has already led investment strategies for Adventenna, Layered Media and Nanomix. Prior to his current position, Mr. Sella served for 14 years in the Israel Defense Forces. His last position there was as Chief of Command for the Technology Unit of the Department of Military Intelligence.
In recognition of Mr. Sella's exceptional work, he received the highly revered Israel Defense Prize. Following his honorable discharge from the Department of Military Intelligence, Mr. Sella served as the Director of Technology for the Israeli National Security Council and as Secretary for the National Committee for Cyber Protection. He was an active member of the Counter Terrorism Bureau and also participated in projects with the US Department of Defense's DARPA as well as the Technical Support Working Group.

Mr. Sella holds B.A. in Science in Management and Production Engineering from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology where he also studied Mechanical Engineering and Physics.
