TENEROS UNVEILS NEW CATEGORY OF CONTINUITY SOLUTION - THE TENEROS APPLICATION CONTINUITY APPLIANCE™

Ensures "ALWAYS-ON" Mission Critical Applications at Affordable Price for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., -- March 22, 2005 Teneros, Inc., today announced the launch of the company and beta availability of the Teneros Application Continuity Appliance™ (ACA) -- a new category of continuity solution delivering 24 X 7, end-user transparent, availability of mission critical applications. The company, which began operating and developing the product in 2003, is led by industry veteran, Steve Lewis, and backed by venture funding from New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Sevin Rosen Funds and STAR Ventures; Series B funding announced separately today. Addressing the need for zero-downtime, non-intrusive solutions which provide Always-On™ application continuity, the Teneros ACA delivers to the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) market and branch offices of larger enterprises, affordable 99.99% ("four 9s") to 99.999% ("five 9s") availability of Microsoft™ infrastructure applications. The first release is the Teneros Application Continuity Appliance for the Microsoft Exchange.

"Corporate e-mail has become a mission critical application as essential as electricity or telephone service; yet, current high availability, continuity solutions are costly to purchase, complex to administer, and intrusive to the existing infrastructure," offered Teneros CEO Steve Lewis. "Mid-market companies have the same continuity needs as large corporate users - reliable, secure application continuity - and with the Teneros Application Continuity Appliance, they finally have that option at an affordable price point."

"Our customers demand a high-level of availability to their corporate applications, and e-mail is the leading mission critical application," said Keith Costas, Director of Engineering, InfoPartners. "Together, InfoPartners and Teneros will deliver Teneros ACA so that our customers can focus on their core competencies while we keep their Microsoft infrastructure applications running continuously."

BUILT-IN SIMPLICITY AND PROTECTION
The Teneros ACA plugs into the Ethernet network between the customer's production server and the rest of the customer's network and installs in under 15 minutes. The ACA is non-intrusive, as it requires no modification of, or addition to the customer's production Microsoft Exchange Server or network environment. Because the Teneros ACA is a closed box solution with remote monitoring and software update/maintenance, there is no IT required. Teneros has designed the appliance to support Microsoft infrastructure applications to provide 24 X 7 end-user operational transparency. Additionally, Teneros' ACA uses transactional integrity validation, the company's proprietary, real-time data verification technology to prevent the proliferation of data corruption on the production Exchange Server.

AVAILABILITY
The company is taking applications to participate in an invitation-only, pre-release program and is currently in trials with customers and select Microsoft infrastructure systems integrators. More information can be found at http://www.teneros.com.
