Sheer Networks was Selected by Telmex to Use Their Products in Mexico

San Jose, CA, June 28th, 2004 - Sheer Networks, a leading provider of award winning service management solutions for carrier networks and large enterprises, today announced that it has provided the Sheer™ BOS product suite to Tel?fonos de Mexico's (TelMex) FR and MPLS Network. TelMex, Mexico's largest telecom operator, supplies wireline, wireless, data, and Internet services to businesses and private consumers throughout Mexico.

Under the terms of the agreement Sheer Networks will provide TelMex with Discovery, Service Assurance and Service Activation solutions. This assists the operator to activate and ensure service delivery to its corporate customers, while efficiently monitoring the services, reducing network outage time.
