Dr. Zachi Berger

Dr. Berger joined STAR in 2003 with 15 years of experience in the healthcare sector and currently handles investments specific to that market. Mr. Berger’s background includes expertise as an entrepreneur in the biotech field as Co-Founder and General Manager of Quantomix Ltd. and as Co-Founder and COO of XTL Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. Mr. Berger was also instrumental in the establishment of Peptor Ltd. and was Assistant to the President of the publicly held company, Pharmos Ltd.

He holds a B.S. in Biology from Tel-Aviv University, an M.S. and Ph.D. in molecular biology from The Weizmann Institute of Science, and an MBA from Bar-Ilan University, Israel. He also serves as Chairman of the Israeli Biotechnology Organization.
